The semi-wet material crusher utilizes a horizontally arranged high-speed rotor in conjunction with multiple rows of high-strength hammer heads. When material with a moisture content of 20%-60% enters the screenless crushing chamber through the feed opening, the rotor drives the hammer heads to rotate at high speeds of 1,000-3,000 RPM, subjecting the material to triple crushing via impact, shearing, and tearing: The upper rotor initially crushes larger pieces of material, while the lower rotor further refines them into uniform fine powder. Simultaneously, the hammers and adjustable gap liners create a repeated grinding effect between the material and powder, ensuring precise control of the output particle size within the range of 0.5-50 millimeters; Its unique screenless structure, combined with an anti-adhesive coating and vibration cleaning device, enables high-moisture materials to automatically detach without sticking to the walls during crushing, completely resolving the issues of blockages and high energy consumption common in traditional equipment. The final product is uniformly fine powder discharged through the bottom outlet, meeting the particle size and moisture requirements for processes such as organic fertilizer granulation and biomass fermentation.

Horizontal crusher
A horizontal crusher uses a high-speed rotor mounted horizontally, equipped with hardened steel blades. It shreds and pulverizes material through a combination of cutting, tearing, and impact, all without using a clog-prone screen.
The process is simple and very effective. Raw material is fed into the top of the machine and falls onto the rapidly spinning horizontal rotor. The blades on this rotor aggressively grab, cut, and shred the material apart. The chamber is designed so the material is thrown against the inner walls and other particles, which breaks it down even further. This continuous shredding action is especially effective on fibrous materials, pulling them apart strand by strand. Just like our vertical crushers, it has an open discharge at the bottom. The pulverized material falls straight through once it is small enough. This screenless design is the key to its “semi-wet” capability. It ensures there is nowhere for damp material to stick and build up. This means you get continuous operation without frustrating downtime for cleaning.

The semi wet material crusher is widely used to process high humidity, multi fiber materials, such as bio organic materials, urban household waste, industrial organic waste, and fermented products of poultry and livestock manure. It plays an important role in organic fertilizer production, agricultural waste treatment, and environmental protection due to its efficient crushing, strong adaptability, and simple operation.
In the processing of raw materials such as chicken manure, cow manure, and straw, the equipment can directly crush materials with a moisture content of 30%-50% to 20-30 mesh, meeting the feed requirements of disc pelletizers.
For kitchen waste, sludge, and other materials with a moisture content of 30%-45%, the equipment can crush hard impurities such as glass and ceramics to prevent damage to subsequent processing equipment. “Semi-wet” generally refers to a moisture content in the range of 20% to 40%. The material is damp and can be clumpy, but it is not a liquid or a very sticky paste. This is typical for fermented compost or dewatered crop residues.
Question 2: What is the main maintenance task for this crusher?
The main maintenance task is inspecting and replacing the blades. Because they do the hard work of shredding, they will wear down over time. Our design uses high-quality, hardened alloy steel and provides easy access to the rotor so blades can be changed quickly.
