  • Separation by Size: The screen is made with holes of a specific size, for example, 4 millimeters. Any particle smaller than 4mm will fall through the screen onto a conveyor belt below. This is your finished, correctly sized product.
  • Discharging Large Particles: Any particle larger than 4mm cannot pass through the holes. Because the drum is tilted, these oversized particles slowly travel down the length of the drum and exit at the lower end. These particles are then sent back to your fertilizer crusher to be broken down again.
